Harrods ‘Can Can' TV and radio ad campaign

The luxury retailer needed a catchy tune to play on the radio and as a background
to a lively TV execution for its famous January Sale in 2005.


I wanted to reinforce the fact that shopping for bargains should be exciting and fun – even at the luxurious Harrods store. I rewrote the lyrics to the classic can can à la Moulin Rouge, proclaiming the multifarious joys of shopping at the Harrods Sale. There were two versions – one using the names of brands found in-store and the other featuring more generic products. The witty execution perfectly reflected the brand's sophisticated wit and sense of fun.
